Ajinomoto Jawo Goes Green – Creating Spaces for Children

After a year, we revisited the school where our green initiative originally began. In 2024, we returned as the “Ajinomoto One Team” to continue planting trees and further develop the sensory garden for the children.

This time, we planted new tree species to complement the green space created the year before. For many of our employees, it was a wonderful opportunity to see how our previous work has grown—and how our actions are truly transforming the local environment.

Globally, more than 5 million hectares of forest disappear every year. This is why the Ajinomoto Group strongly emphasizes the importance of responsible environmental action—and at Ajinomoto Jawo, we translate these global principles into concrete, local initiatives.

Seeing so many team members rejoin the cause highlights how deeply our people unite around shared values. Planting trees together was not only a pro-ecological effort but also a fantastic opportunity to connect, talk, and make a meaningful difference for others.

This project marks another step in building a lasting space that will serve children for years to come—and stands as further proof that we are always stronger together.
