Gyoza, fun, and education—our initiatives for the youngest
Ajinomoto Jawo actively engages in the life of the local community, carrying out activities in line with the ASV (Ajinomoto Shared Value) philosophy. We pay special attention to the families and children of our employees, supporting places that are important to them—including local kindergartens.
One of our permanent initiatives is promoting gyoza and Japanese culture among the youngest. We organize educational and integration events where children take part in quizzes about Japan, color illustrations, and participate in culinary workshops. During the classes, they learn how gyoza is prepared, and at the end, everyone tastes various types of our products together.
These activities are part of the broader Ajinomoto Group policy, which emphasizes the importance of supporting the communities in which our plants operate. At Ajinomoto Jawo, we want to be not only a food producer but also a responsible and engaged employer that truly participates in local life.
Our goal is to build an image of a company that is open, supportive, and close to the residents. We encourage the local community to help co-create the Ajinomoto One Team—built on cooperation, commitment, and working together for a better future.
Through such initiatives, we show that we operate on multiple levels: as a responsible food producer, an active participant in local life, and an attractive employer.
